What is Winterfest?
Winterfest’s mission is to grow the popularity of the table-top role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons , with emphasis on fostering positive mental health and social interaction. Our events bring together players, gamemasters and other interested parties to share their enthusiasm for the game. Our goal is to make Bridgetown the premiere D&D destination in Western Australia.
Who we are
Blackwood D&D Winterfest Incorporated is a not-for-profit organisation which began in 2018 as one person’s vision but has grown into the festival it is today.
The event is managed by an elected committee, all of whom are volunteers and passionate D&D players.
Become a Member
You can help shape the future of Winterfest by becoming a Member and adding your voice at the AGM or even standing for the Committee.
Volunteer with us
Volunteers are the cornerstone of Winterfest. We would love you to join us. Staging the event is a big task, and we need many hands to make it go. How can you help?
Be a Dungeon Master
DM volunteers run games during the weekend. Most games are Dungeons & Dragons 5e, but other game systems are available. Sign up as a DM.
Be a Volunteer
General volunteers help run the event and there are many roles available from helping set up and pack down to decorating and table allocation over the event that require someone to help out. You don’t need to be a D&D player to volunteer for these jobs. Sign up as a volunteer.
